You don't need to apply. The ATO automatically calculates and pays the co-contribution to your super fund after you lodge your tax return. Make sure your super fund has your Tax File Number.

If your income is below $47,488, contribute $1,000 after-tax to get the full $500 co-contribution. If your income is between $47,488 and $62,488, the maximum co-contribution reduces, so our calculator shows the optimal amount.
